I've always had an inside cabin so have never seen anything, but if your arriving i suppose you could go on deck and if you cant spot an island you could walk to the other side, hope this helps.

Well the $64,000 question, they will vary from port to starboard depending on your route but if you have a balcony and you see nothing it could be it is on the other side. Most ships have a camera allowing you to see straight ahead so switch on your TV to the right channel and you should see which side the next islands are coming up on........Bill
