Whilst everyone is saying it is expensive we find with Celebrity who we cruise with their are what is known us bundles ot time, you select what you want to purchase. In our case we do get 90 mins FREE [Elite membership benefit]and thereafter the cheapest we can get is 30 per minute and computer speeds on the new ships are improving. so yes take your laptop with you if thats what you want to do and you might have to use the internet when off the ship but check out what they offer it might be better tham some of the sceptics are saying...Bill

NO cruiselnes as Diane has said have free Wi-fi access as this is one of the most expensive things on a cruise ship. Also what lets it down is the incredibly slow connection speeds and the fact you have to connect via the ship. If you are thinking of taking your own Laptop. my advice is to use it whilst onshore in an internet cafe. You will be looking at somewhere between 2-5 euros a minute, maybe less maybe more.
