A 2d Grade has the top of a lifeboat falling in line with the top of the balcony railing. So you can still see outwards. A 2c has the lifeboat roof falling in line with the floor of the balcony thus obstructing the view down. I did find a picture somewhere the other day on one of the sites. I will see if I can track it down again and post a link later.
