Most of the ships we have been on have interconnecting doors and it seems there are more all the time. We have been on RCL Navigator and Freedom and they are now putting connecting doors between some of the suties and normal cabins, so the children.grandchildren can have their own room. Just check out the cabin deatails on the ships plans and it will show you which cabins have connecting door. The last crusie in Jan 08 our cabinwcih was the largest of the normal cabins had a connecting door to the smaller cabin next door. and although we thought we would have some noise via the door there was no effect at all. It is also possible to open up the balcony door as well on some ships but will need the ship cabin boy to arrange that .
