Have recently done the Canaries trip on Destiny. Cabins are quite small but are adequate, as you will spend little time in them as there is much to do. The ship does have stabilisers but it can still move about a bit when it is rough.Dont worry you will have a great time.
We have been on the destiny four times now and have done the canaries we have never had a problem with te ship it does have stabilisers and never have experienced any rocking and the cabins are of a standard size, quite roomy and very clean have a great time
Destiny cabins all very small and very limited draw space and one bed folded away during day. She has no stabilisation and is very unstable, even in calmer conditions- dancing becomes very interesting.
The cabins are small compared to some ships and space is limited - although your suitcases can easily be stored away under the beds. We have been on the Destiny on the Canaries twice now and have found it to be extremely well organised and we have never had any problems with the stabilty of the ship. Enjoy

I have been on the destiny with thompsons also about ten times when it was called sunbird, small cabins but all you need is provided,it does have stabilisers, rocks a little but great fun, even had the privilege of going round the engine room fantastic,i promice you a great time.
The destiny is a very nice ship, cabins are average size not to small. this ship does have stabilisers . unless its very rough you will not experance any movement.
On discussing ridiculously small size of deck 3 outside cabins and their lack of storage space with "front office manager(ess)", we were told that all cabins up to deck 6(incl) are identical. We were also told that, in her view, the increased public space compensates for this !! Yes the ship does have stabilisers - isn't this in the Brochure?
We were in cabin 3091 which is next deck down. cabin on the small side ,shower space smaller than on other thomsons ships, show team was great ,food and waiter service superb. have a good time. steve & jackie. oldha.
You will enjoy the Destiny immensely...the crew are fantastic, especially in the seven seas restaurant, it was a pleasure to eat there each evening, entertainment was excellent too...our cabin stewardess was a gem..the cabins are small enough but we had no problem sorting ourselves out in it, anyway too much going on about the ship to spend long periods in it... at times the ship was a little rocky but it wasnt a problem for us...but it does have stabilisers...it was our first time to cruise and throughly enjoyed our time on the Destiny.. have a great cruise !!
Having cruised over xmas/new year on Destiny, all cabins but de lux much the same , tired, cramped , shoddy paintwork, well worn bedding, noisy ineffective air con , spreads infections well, take anti bios you,ll need them.Destiny compares unfavourably with more modern liners. the only saving grace being the excellent staff that service these cabins the ship I was informed had stabilizers , however tends to roll badly at low speeds, enjoy.
