BLYTH - Answered a Question by Radnedge (01 Feb 09 14:37)

Given the dollar/pound exchange rate a deal on a drinks package might not be to great, what is always good value is cocktail of the day. When you are in any bar check the price list to look for best value and order that, if you simply say a gin and tonic your unlikely to be served the cheapest.

Have a look at the Reviews on this site I opened up 5 and all thought it great and gave their overall cruise score as a 5 so not bad. Never put 100% faith in bad reports some take a delight in moaning about something not sure why if you go to a hotel it is never 100%, if you try really hard you can find faults but on a cruise ship with over 2,000 passengers all from different parts of the world some people can't cope - enjoy your cruise .... Bill.

Anyone for Tea?

By Jo Cunningham

MSC Cruises are taking British cruisers seriously and have announced that British passengers will be able to vote on the brand of kettle that is being placed in all cabins on board the MSC Magnifica.Having a kettle in your cabin has always been important to British cruisers. We are people that enjoy a cup of tea in the morning and do not like having to call (or pay) for room service to bring it. I am frequently being asked if there is a kettle in the cabin and it is only really the British C...

Port Or Starboard? Whats t...

By Gina Rowan

Gina Rowan's blog

I wish I had a pound for every time I have been asked this question. I could have sailed around the world in Luxury! Aah yes! but would I choose Port or Starboard for my cabin? Or left side versus the right side of the ship?I suppose it depends on where you’re headed. I know that quite a few seasoned cruisers swear by the Starboard side. Although it really depends on what type of cruise you are on.For instance, if you are sailing in one direction, North or West generally people pr...

My NON cruise holiday this Easter.

By Haydn Jones

Haydn Jones's blog

I’ve just come back from a family Easter holiday to Spain, surprisingly not on a cruise this time. My children are of the age where we have to go away during school holidays. We decided on Benalmadena, Spain as we have been before , its not too far, and the boys love it there. The weather was absolutely glorious, we were so lucky this time of year to have 10 days of boiling sunshine. Benalmdena is a town on southern Spain’s Costa del Sol, known for its beaches and the modern Pue...
