There is no age limit to drinking in Italy, but you have to be 16 to purchase alcohol in Italy. as to MSC rules I cannot comment, but suspect it will be as per Italian law. As a footnote, you have to be 13 in Italy to look at Adult material on your in cabin TV ???????

Do you not think that 14 and 16 is a bit young to allow your children to consume alcohol? The UK age limit of 18 before you are allowed to purchase alcohol is there for a reason.
