Allure of the Seas

As most of you know we are off on Allure of the Seas in December. I went online and logged onto my personaliser to see what was there and most things are bookable already. I always recommend for people to log onto their cruise booking with the cruise line direct once a month as we never know when things are bookable.

So far I have sorted out most of our entertainment.

Our first night we have OceanAria I think I am most excited for this. I mean an Aqua Theatre on a cruise ship! This extravaganza is an athletic & artistic masterpiece featuring fountains and music.

For our second night we have the hit Broadway show Mama Mia.

We have also booked a couple of comedy shows for the evenings.

We have Blue Planet booked for 5pm on our last night. This is a Cirque Du Soleil style acrobatic show with Jungle, desert & underwater scenes.

I have also booked the Character Breakfast for Charlie as a little treat as lots of his favorite characters will be on board. Here I am on Harmony of the Seas

We dont have the deluxe drinks package as part of our offer but its something I still need to add. I like to go on board and not worry about what we are spending and how much things will cost. This is where it pays to keep checking the personaliser. At different times they have different offers and I am holding out for a 30% discount! This will get the drinks package down to £36 per person per day. This works out much cheaper than the on board cost of around $63 per person per day once the taxes are added on.

We havent yet booked our dining as there is so much choice. Although I will be booking the special offer for the first night. Its called First night done right. For £11.55 we select our time that we want to eat and we will be allocated any of the specialty restaurants.

Do you pre book everything before you go or do you just get on board and hope for the best? This is the first time I have pre booked entertainment but then this is the largest ship we have been on as a family and we dont want to miss out on anything!
