Sunny Skegness!

Last weekend we had the annual Cruise.co.uk conference at Butlins in Skegness.

Now most years we go on a mini cruise but for logistical reasons this year the company chose Skegness.

I must admit like many people I was a little disappointed when I first heard about the change of venue but I now realise it doesn’t matter where we are, its the people at cruise.co that makes the difference not where we are.

Butlins was just as much fun as any cruise conference we’ve had and to be fair in some ways it was better. I loved the lodges and the fact we could share 4 to a lodge made it even more fun. My roomies were great, we took extra supplies of food and drink and we even decorated the place and had a secret Santa.

Now Cruise.co is not like most companies, when it comes to our conference were not expected to sit for hours and hours listening to the cruise lines telling us every single new campaign they have or every new ship launching from now until 2030!

Instead, the cruise lines keep things fun and interactive keeping our attention with lots of lovely prizes. I must admit I’m rubbish at most of the games but some of my colleagues did really well and won some great prizes, APT even gave away a Mekong Cruise, Wowser!!

This years theme was 60’s and as you can see from the pictures we love nothing more than a good fancy dress party and this year was no exception. My personal favourites was Cruella and her dalmations, I could not stop laughing when I saw them.

Many of us at Cruiseco work from home so the conference is the only time of year we all get together which to me makes it, even more, fun and special.

This has been my tenth year at Cruiseco and I have to say I’m so proud to work for such a great company with such wonderful people.

I would also like to wish all my clients a very Merry Christmas and a Very Happy 2018
