Seabourn Deliver Mega-Important Date & News Of Incredible New Journeys Around The World

Seabourn has announced the arrival of Seabourn Ovation for May 2018, set to join sister ship Seabourn Encore.

The three 458-guest Odyssey-class ships will mean that the cruise line have the youngest and most modern ultra-luxury fleet in the industry, with no ship more than 8 years old.

Designed by hospitality design icon, Adam D. Tihany, the 40,350-tonne ship will feature modern design elements and innovations in keeping with Seabourn’s reputation for understated elegance.

Seabourn Ovation will carry just 600 guests based on double occupancy and be configured with one additional deck, new expanded public areas and every suite will feature a private veranda.

The ship will expand and build on Seabourn’s award-winning and highly acclaimed Odyssey-class ships, which revolutionised ultra-luxury cruising with enhanced accommodations and innovative amenities when they were introduced between 2009 and 2011.

Seabourn Ovation will depart from Venice on 5th May 2018 on her inaugural 11-night Mediterranean sailing before offering a series of Northern Europe cruises throughout the summer, some visiting UK ports such as Dover, Liverpool, Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Belfast; for Winter 2018 and 2019, the ship will travel to Asia via Arabia.

In other news, Seabourn will be offering an expanded, land-based excursions programme called Seabourn Journeys.

Guests can enjoy captivating experiences of local culture, history, beauty, hospitality and relaxation with the fully-escorted journeys that have been created to showcase the very best of the destination.

All Seabourn Journey’s are available pre- and post-cruise with transfers to and from Seabourn ships:
