Riviera Cruises, the river line that prides itself on being quintessentially British, has two sophisticated new ships arriving in 2019.
MS George Eliot and MS Dylan Thomas will both be five-star vessels boasting elegance and sheer luxury in a unique surrounding.
MS George Eliot
This 132-guest river ship was named after one of the leading English novelists of the 19th century and was built to the highest specifications.
It was built to match the strictest safety regulations by Scylla, AG, world renowned builders of the most modern cruisers in Europe.
Guests will be welcomed onboard, starting with the elegant lobby, lit by sophisticated lighting and its gleaming marble floor.
Riviera has scattered the ship with thoughtful and tasteful design such as sustainable hardwood furniture, intricate wrought-iron work and polished copper and brass beautifully complemented by soft leather and sumptuous Italian fabrics.
MS George Eliot will have 36 staff onboard ensuring an intimate and personal experience for guests onboard a ship that will feel very much like a luxury boutique hotel.
There will be 70 luxuriously appointed suites and cabins which all feature:

This 169-guest, state-of-the-art vessel is Swiss-operated and world class.
Riveria Cruises have openly avoided the minimalist style where you could be anywhere in the world and instead has focused on an exquisite and unique style.
MS Dylan Thomas is exceptionally spacious with a richly coloured, marble-floored lobby flooded with natural light from an atrium above.
Europe’s finest design studio has produced a perfectly balanced masterpiece of onboard style using the same materials as MS George Eliot: sustainable rich hardwoods, gleaming brass and polished copper, sparkling glass and intricate wrought iron.
The harmonious colour schemes creates a serene atmosphere reflective of the golden age of cruising whilst the restaurant rivals the finest on shore establishment.
Guests will experience something utterly intimate with a crew to passenger ratio that matches a first class standard; 44 in-house trained crew members will treat all 169 passengers.
