Princess Cruises has just revealed that guests onboard Sapphire Princess can prepare themselves for many exciting enhancements onboard soon.

Ahead of her maiden season in Europe, the ship will arrive in Southampton with every cabin onboard equipped with Princess Luxury Beds.

The beds have been developed with board-certified sleep expert Dr. Michael Breus and HGTV designer Candice Olsen, ensuring the most comfortable sleep at sea.

Princess are committed to making sure their guests leave their cruise feeling renewed, refreshed and rejuvenated- Dr. Michael Breus stated “It’s important to remember that above all, sleep is a sensory experience. In fact, all five of your senses must be prepared for slumber in order for sleep to come easily and last all night long.”

The line have invested in ultra-premium features including a plush two-inch thick pillow top, a nine-inch single sided medium firm mattress for enhanced support, individually wrapped coils for less partner disturbance, a European-inspired duvet and 100% luxurious Jacquard-woven cotton linens.

Guests can even wake up in their own Princess bed at home with the chance to now purchase the luxury bed- click here to browse the retail site.

As part of the refit, Princess is rolling out its new kids clubs on Sapphire, created in partnership with Discovery; the engaging new youth programming is for cruisers aged 3 to 17.

The kids clubs will act as a place for young explorers to learn about the world and discover new interests, along with invitations to meet new friends and enjoy memorable experiences while sailing.

The Just For Kids area will include:

-The Treehouse (originally called Pelicans) for ages 3-7: a bright, whimsical, forest-themed centre with hands-on activities and programmes surrounded by captivating creatures

-The Lodge (originally called Shockwaves) for ages 8-12: a cosy centre inspired by the great outdoors, filled with sports activities and comfortable places for kids to explore and lounge in.

The Just For Teens area will include:

-The Beach House (originally called Remix) for ages 13-17: a contemporary, beach-themed lounge that is perfect for teens to socialize in.

-Rock the Boat Party: an occasion to dress up for before strolling down a red carpet for a night of mocktails and celebrating with friends.

-Competitions: video game tournaments, air hockey, foosball, ping-pong, aswell as outdoor sports like dodgeball and basketball tournaments.

-Movies & More: Scary Movie Night and Late Night Movies is on offer for teens onboard, aswell as teen makeovers and glitter tattoos.

The Just For Young Adults will include:

-Club 1820: a secret society with a special handshake and special code to unlock an exclusive list of events made just for members (no parents, no little siblings, no official hosts).

Princess have made sure to include a variety of cruise activities for the whole family like production shows to get involved in, a fun fair, family game nights, family fitness, family movie nights, family friendly lodging (interconnecting staterooms), and family shore excursions.

There is still a chance for a parents night out too with Princess‘ late-night group kidsitting (from 10 pm to 1 am at the fee of $5 per hour, per child), and kids-only dinners where kids can dine with their new friends and onboard Youth Staff while parents enjoy dinner alone.

Sapphire Princess‘ boutiques, spa and gym will also be upgraded with other thrilling updates to be announced as her arrival to Southampton draws closer.
