Gratuities- it’s common knowledge that this is always somewhat of a controversial topic whether you’re in a restaurant, in a coffee shop or taking a delivery.

And in some ways, life on a cruise ship is a whole other world. We could really do with zero added stresses to what will be one of the most memorable holidays in all your years of travelling.

This is what adds a discretionary amount to your onboard account each day to make it easier to say ‘thank you’ for any services you receive.

Rest assured, this helps to reward the waiters and buffet staff as well as the cabin steward or butler- all of which hugely appreciate your recognition of their hard work.
