Norwegian Cruise Line say “I Do!” to Weddings at Sea

Today Norwegian Cruise Line announced that they will now be allowing couples to be legally married aboard certain ships in their fleet!

Ceremonies performed aboard NCL ships will be performed by the ship’s captain beginning this month aboard Norwegian Breakaway and Getaway, this autumn Norwegian Escape will join the list.

Everything a budding couple could want is included in the package; bridal bouquet, champagne toast, wedding cake and even a wedding coordinator to assist in everything a happy couple could want during the planning process.

The wedding coordinators handle all of the big day’s busywork, so the bride and groom can relax while preparing for the big moment!

On top of this good news, NCL are now offering customisable destination wedding experiences at ports of call. These incredible opportunities include a wedding at port, atop a glacier, on a Caribbean beach – there truly are no limits to your dream romantic wedding!

Many of a cruisers’ favourite destinations are available for weddings, including Canada, Mexico, Bemuda, Santorini, Greeze, Maui and many more.

Norwegian Cruise Line are also offering same-sex ceremonies in destinations where same-sex marriages are recognized by law – so whether it’s bride and groom, groom and groom or bride and bride there are still weddings that cater directly to you.

There are also Vow Renewal packages for married couples who wish to celebrate their love all over again.
