New Relaxation Chamber for Seven Seas Explorer

If you’re partial to the finer things in life, you’re in for a treat because Regent Seven Seas Cruises has unveiled the luxurious details of its latest vessel, the Seven Seas Explorer.

Set to debut in July 2016, the 750-passenger cruise liner will be Regent’s most prestigious, rivalling that of its fleetmates Mariner, Voyager and Navigator.

The design of the new ship captures the essence of the line’s much-loved traditional features, while incorporating a selection of more contemporary aesthetics.

At a recent event at New York City’s St Regis Hotel, it was announced that the new luxury cruise ship will feature an in-cabin relaxation chamber inside the sumptuous Regent cruise. Spanning 3,875 square feet, with an additional 1,000 square foot veranda, the suite is the first to stretch across the width of a ship for 270-degree views. Regent suites have always been glamorous, but this one proves to be the best yet!

Guests can marvel in the breathtaking sights from the glass-enclosed sunroom that overlooks the forward-facing balcony. Or for the music meisters among you, it’s likely that the custom-built Steinway grand piano will tempt you to play some classics.

Not only this, but the suite also boasts an ensuite spa tucked inside the bathroom. Relax on the heated mosaic tile loungers while gazing out across the blue waters, or retreat to the steam room and sauna for some down time. Now we know why Regent is known as the 6* Ultra-Luxury cruise line

Regent’s trained health and beauty therapists will be on hand to offer an unlimited selection of spa treatments free of charge – a complementary addition to the $5,000 (£3295) per person, per night price tag.

Beyond the Regent Suite, the Seven Seas Explorer features the line’s popular restaurants: Prime 7 Steakhouse, Veranda Cafe, and the ship’s main dining venue Compass Rose.

No matter which restaurant you visit, expect an elegant, high-quality dining experience, with mouthwatering dishes specially selected and prepared by top chefs, as with all Regent vessels.

The Seven Seas Explorer will set sail on July 20th 2016, spending its maiden voyage and inaugural season in the Mediterranean.
