MSC Cruises Launch Virtual Cruise Experience

MSC cruises have partnered up with Samsung to bring a new virtual cruise ship experience.

It will offer travellers a virtual video walkthrough of several MSC vessels.

The tour will focus on six key areas of the ship, which include pool areas, staterooms and restaurants.

The news follows after Azamara introduced their virtual reality tours and Carnival offered cruisers the chance to tour Carnival Vista a year before it launches.

However, MSC’s virtual cruise will go one step further, by giving passengers the chance to sit in the ship’s theatre to watch a show, as well as give them scents such as freshly baked bread, chocolate, fruit or rosemary.

It will launch at Expo 2015 in Milan which will run from May 1 to Oct 31.

Would you like to try the virtual experience? Let us know in the comments below!
