The partnership follows Viking‘s collaboration with the PBS-aired series Masterpiece, which includes the Emmy award-winning Downton Abbey and Sherlock.
Like its Masterpiece partnership, Viking advertisements will be aired in between each episode of The Great British Baking Show. The cruise line will also showcase recipes from the show across its marketing channels.
The Great British Baking Show is already a popular television series here in the UK, which sees a series of amateur bakers go to great lengths to cook up the best sweet treats in a bid to be crowned the UK’s best.
Each week, the competition gets harder, with leading cookbook author Mary Berry and top artisan baker Paul Hollywood on hand to judge the contestant’s creations.

This year, the line will introduce new ships to its fleet, as well as two itineraries on the Rhine River.
