Make a splash in Norwegian Escape’s water park

Norwegian Cruise Line’s newest ship is set to make a splash – not just by setting sail on the waters, but onboard its expansive aqua park.

The latest vessel, Norwegian Escape, will make its debut in 2015 and will be the biggest in the fleet.

Perfect for families and groups of friends, the aqua park will feature the much-loved Free Fall water slide – a classic component of the line’s Breakaway-class ships – and a new water feature called the Aqua Racer slide. Take your position on the tube and get ready to race side by side against your opponent!

Boasting a total of four slides, a designated children’s area, four hot tubs and two pools, Escape’s aqua park takes its title as the largest in Norwegian’s fleet.

Little ones are bound to love the kids area that features a two-storey climbing structure, water cannons, an enclosed tube slide and buckets of water that will unexpectedly tip upside-down and drench whoever walks by.

Other elements of the children’s aqua park include a lookout platform, rope bridge and a multi-storey tower along with spray jets to interact with along the way. Your child is bound to feel like a true pirate!

If you love adventure, but want to take a break from the water, Escape will offer a series of other outdoor activities, such as a bocce ball court, a mini-golf course with a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme and a nine-hole.

A three-storey ropes course will feature alongside the aqua park, with 99 action-packed elements, including two planks and a zip rail that will glide you through the air.

The vessel will also deliver childcare services for children aged between six months and three years, which will form part of the Guppies program – a new addition to the line. A parent and baby play area with age-appropriate games and activities will also run, in keeping with this feature on Norwegian’s other ships.

Are you ready to take the plunge and dive into Norwegian Escape’s aqua park?
