Majesty Of The Seas Stays With Royal Caribbean

Majesty of the Seas is staying with Royal Caribbean, it has been announced.

After an announcement in 2014 stating that Majesty of the Seas would be transferred, the cruise line has now announced that the ship will stay in the fleet following new amenities and upgrades being added.

Michael Bayley, Royal Caribbean International’s president and CEO, made an announcement; “Our short itineraries have been very popular offering vacationers the perfect opportunity to sample the unmatched experience of a Royal Caribbean cruise, as well as providing a quick adventurous getaway. With these exciting new features as well as unprecedented fast and free unlimited internet for guests on Majesty of the Seas, we are stepping up our game and offering a phenomenal short cruise adventure for our guests.”

Among the new upgrades the ship will see are free, unlimited Voom internet service, a poolside movie screen and more entertainment.

The ship will also see upgrades to the casino and restaurants, with new additions such as Isumi, Sabor and more restaurants which will be familiar to those who have sailed among RCI’s newer vessels, such as Quantum of the Seas.

With this move Rhapsody of the Seas will be homeporting in Tampa from now on.
