Fred Olsen Bring Kid’s Clubs To Their Fleet

Fred Olsen have announced that they are introducing a children’s club to their ships.

Their four ships will now be home to Little Skippers kids club which will operate during peak holiday season.

The clubs will be run by qualified hosts who will arrange activities on-board such as treasure hunts, quizzes, cookie and pizza making classes in the Galley, swimming classes and arts and crafts sessions.

Depending on the age of children travelling there will be a ratio of one adult to six or eight children.

There will be different activities available daily which will be outlined in a dedicated children’s programme in cabins. The programme will also include jokes, mocktails of the day and port information written with children in mind.

Fred Olsen’s head of sales Neil Herbert said: “We welcome many multi-generational families on-board our ships and we appreciate that it can be difficult to find a holiday to suit all ages. We are therefore very happy to be unveiling our ‘Little Skippers’ club.

“Parents or grandparents can indulge in a spa treatment, relax by the pool, or sip on a cocktail in the lounge, safe in the knowledge that their children will be looked after by our team of creative and professional hosts.”

The availability of the Little Skippers club will be subject to numbers.
