Cook up a storm at sea with P&O Cruises

Britain’s very first cookery school on board P&O Cruises’ new ship Britannia is now open to bookings.

Passengers who have planned a cruise holiday on board P&O’s latest vessel can reserve a place at the the Cookery Club up to three months in advance.

Developed in association with Britain’s favourite television chef James Martin, the school will provide passengers with a unique opportunity to learn from a professional through a series of interactive classes.

The tasty dishes will be inspired by James’ favourites and the destinations Britannia will visit.

Britannia, which will take to the seas in March 2015, weighs in at 141,000 tonnes and is the largest ship built for the British cruise market. It will offer a luxury, modern holiday experience, with shopping, entertainment, health, beauty and a strong focus on dining.

In addition to the cookery school, bookings are being taken for master patissier Eric Lanlard’s signature afternoon tea and the new Limelight Club.

But jam and scones are the last thing you can expect from Lanlard’s afternoon tea, as this dining experience is truly one of a kind. Savour the likes of gruyere cheese eclairs, rocket and red onion marmalade, edible Earl Grey perfumes and delectable pop cones topped with orange Blossom Persian candy floss.

This innovative twist on a traditional British favourite will make for an indulgent, memorable experience.

Britannia’s Limelight Club is a venue for adults that combines entertainment and good food. Watch talented performers while you tuck into the culinary delights!

Are you feeling peckish? Why not book a place on P&O Britannia’s cookery school?
