Royal Caribbean’s newest ship, Anthem of the Seas, is almost ready to set sail!
Last week, German ship builders Meyer Werft delivered Anthem of the Seas to Royal Caribbean, just ten days before she is set to launch.
The ship will be arriving in the UK early this Wednesday.
She will reach Southampton’s Mayflower Park at 7.25am and will be tied up in the City Terminal by about 8am.
Anthem will have an inaugural ceremony in Southampton on April 20th and over 1300 special guests and dignitaries will be in attendance. She is Royal Caribbean’s 23rd ship.
In total, Anthem will be able to carry 4180 passengers and is the second vessel in the Quantum class.
The new ship will feature the North Star, a SeaPlex bumper car area and a RipCord iFly skydiving simulator.
She will be based in Southampton for her inaugural season before she moves to her permanent port in New York.
