Decor and Atmosphere

Silversea ships boast one of the highest space to guest ratio at sea, meaning that your chosen ship will have more than enough room to swing a cat. The ships feature a stylish art deco design, inspired by the fashion of the 1930’s, so you’ll genuinely feel like you’re living in the lap of luxury!

Entertainment

While you won’t find all the bells and whistles of a major ocean cruise line, there is no shortage of things to do onboard a Silversea ship. However, the experience is much more sophisticated with activities catering for the classier individual, as opposed to the larger lines that offer things for all the family.

Fitness Center – For the health-conscious not wanting to skip a day of their workout routine, fear not! There’s a fitness centre onboard most ships. Offering activities such as Pilates, yoga, aerobics and various workout equipment, you’ll be able to keep in shape right up until you hit the beach! There are also saunas and steam rooms available for you to relax after your workout. If you’re wanting to learn more about healthy living there are seminars available to teach you about aromatherapy, nutrition and much more!

On most ships there are either cinemas, show lounges, casinos, piano bars or libraries, with Silver Cloud and Wind having the most entertainment opportunities available. Love live music? You’ll be excited to know that it is available on most ships including cabaret and sophisticated jazz.

Dining

Where there are less dining options than on larger cruise lines, you’re definitely not limited for quality or choice. There are at least four restaurant options on each ship, and the new Flagship Muse will feature the most options, meaning you’ll be spoiled for choice! There’s an open seating policy across all restaurants so you can sit wherever and with whomever you wish.

Bars/Grills – On each ship there will be at least one bar/grill, offering the most elegantly prepared seafood and classic dishes that will have your mouth watering. For lunch, sample delicious grilled favourites, or try a freshly cooked pizza! In the evening the grill will transform into a casual, but sophisticated dining venue, on select ships guests are able to grill their own seafood on a heated volcanic rock. How cool is that?!

Main Restaurant – The main dining room is featured on all ships and is quite the elegant affair. The best part is that there are no assigned times so you can eat at any time you want, so you don’t have to worry about rushing to make the designated meal times. Don’t fancy leaving your room? Not to worry! You can have your butler bring you your chosen meal straight from the restaurant kitchen.

Speciality Restaurants – Aboard most Silversea ships you’ll find a speciality oriental restaurant, offering a selection of the finest Asian or Japanese cuisines, featuring a chef’s table, you’ll be able to watch your meal being prepared by the deft hands of one of the top chefs.

Due to Silversea’s Italian heritage, it should come as no surprise that they have a top of the line Italian restaurant. La Terrazza is available on most ships and boasts an Italian dining experience like no other. All dishes are cooked with the finest ingredients, and you can rest assured that your meal will be cooked to top standards with their Italian staff – they really know their Penne from their Rigatoni!

Stars Supper Club – A truly unique dining experience is found at the Stars Supper Club. Step inside and you’ll be greeted by glamorous 1930’s décor that appears fresh out of a speakeasy. Available on the Silver Spirit ship, you’ll be able to enjoy tapas-style dishes from around the world, whilst watching cabaret performances, or listening to smooth jazz. Now that sounds like a good night to us!

Le Champagne – For an extra special dish, pay a visit to Le Champagne, claiming to be the most luxurious dining experience at sea, you’ll feel utterly spoiled for choice with their incredible menu. The menu changes to reflect the destination you’re travelling to, so you’ll be able to taste the dishes from the destination before you actually see it!
