26 Countries & 34,487 Nautical Miles: Princess’ 2020 World Cruise Unveiled

Princess Cruises has just unveiled its 2020 world cruise itinerary, a 111-day roundtrip sailing that will visit 26 countries on five continents.

The 670-passenger Pacific Princess will depart from Fort Lauderdale on January 5th and Los Angeles on January 20th, sailing 34,287 nautical miles and crossing the equator four times during its voyage.

The 2020 sailing will follow a route similar to the line’s 2019 itinerary but with 42 destinations, including new stops in Melbourne, Australia; Kaikoura, New Zealand; Praslin, Seychelles; and the French protectorate of Mayotte Island (in the Indian Ocean between Mozambique and Madagascar).

It will also include the first call on Stone Town, the old part of the city in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

Princess is also offering shorter, multi-day segments throughout the journey, including a 96-day segment from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale.

The brand began offering world cruises twenty years ago and says its guests often “share their appreciation for taking them to places they never in a million years thought they would experience.”

The 2020 world tour will include visits to 20 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and 12 late-night stays in certain ports, including Melbourne and Phuket, to maximize time spent there along with an overnight visit to Cape Town, South Africa.

Princess fans can begin booking their once-in-a-lifetime cruise from April 25th, with rates starting at $22,999 per person whilst past guests will be eligible for additional savings.

Early-booking perks will include:

-$1,000 onboard credit per person for booking a balcony, mini-suite, Club Class mini-suite or suite

-$500 onboard credit per person for bookings in an interior or oceanview cabin

-Complimentary gratuities for any room category
