More firsts at sea for Royal Caribbean

Royal Caribbean Independence of the sea’s has to be has to be one of the UK’s favourite cruise ships , it certainly won our customers votes !! The news just last year she was returning to the shores of the uk brought the bookings flooding back in and has carried on into this year and by the looks of things most definitely next year ……

I have had the pleasure of sailing on her four times and every time I have been wowed more than the last.

The last time I was on board with my work colleagues in October last year stood at the foot of the Royal Promenade .

Royal Caribbean has just announced she is to have another multi million pound refurbishment to add new attractions and features. They havent just gone to add what is already on some of the companies megaships already ,they have tried a new approach and asked us the travel experts …. ( I have played no part in this what so ever though )

Royal Caribbean invited Travel agents to make suggestions on how to make the customers experience on board totally unforgettable.

The four extraordinary new features are predicted to be added in April 2018,

The winning idea was a trampoline park, which will be the first ever at sea at what a great idea as they are all the rage at the moment and doubles up as a great place to exercise also , the other features will include water slides, an escape room and laser tag.

All four winners will be among some of the first guests on board Independence of the Seas, voted best ship sailing from the UK in May 2018, as they are each treated to a two-night VIP stay on board the preview sailing lucky them !!!

I personally think this is great news for the uk market in particularly families as we only really have the one mega ship that sails out of the uk , there doesn’t look to be any plans to bring any other ships into the uk that has this amount of features.
