Ladies who do cruises….

Ever read the book ‘Here comes the girls’ Its about four friends that had planned when they were younger to go on a cruise together to celebrate their 40th Birthday’s and that is what they did, a great read I would recommend it.

I did it last year for my twin sister’s hen do there was seven of us who travelled just 2 nights of modern luxury onboard the Celebrity Eclipse we had a great time.

I believe every woman out there needs a break from time to time. Imagine you and your girlfriends globetrotting about without a care in the world. No kids, no husband, no school, no laundry, no grocery shopping, just you and your friends having the time of your lives.It really does tick all the boxes as you have shopping which most ladies like to do .Besides the onboard shops on the cruise ships, which by the way are duty free, you will also have different shops at every port ot call.
Eating out well you will have plenty of choice onboard the ship but also can try the local specialities in the ports also.
If you want to work off the extra calories then you can go in the gym , take a jog onboard or join one of the organised classes.
If you want a bit of relaxation then you could visit the spa typically the best are at sea !! Indulge in a massage or a facial or just relax in sauna’s or steamroom. Or if you have had enough of being pampered and fancy learning a bit of the local culture then you could make the most of the ports and go on a organised excursion or simply do your own sightseeing.

My last blog was about themed cruises, well the first ever women’s only cruise is happening on the Amazon next month.This is great for solo female travellers that want to feel safe whilst visiting off the beaten track.

More cruise lines are trying to reach into a new market , I like the idea of a single passenger cruise and think this would sell really well !!
