Finally food glorious food

My final update on my recent trip on Independance of the seas is all about my dining experience.I can honestly say I was not disappointed with one meal I had.You can literally eat 24 hours a day. IMG_1922[1]
The group was on second sitting which was 8.30 in the main dining room The Romeo and Juliet. The choice in there was great something for everyone and the staff were very attentive and gave us their recommendations at every meal.
Also in here you can have A la Carte Breakfast from 7.30am to 9.30am and lunch from noon until 1.30pm.

Chops Grille is a select restaurant, reservations can be made between 5.30 and 9.30 and has a cover charge of $30pp. This is the place to go if you like your steak there was also a wide choice of seafood. We ate here one evening and it was lovely.Only seated about 100 people and it was quite busy when we went so would definately recommend to book in advance.Nice for a special occasion although because the food was so good in the main restaurant its not really a necessity.

Johny Rockets
Desert at Johny rockets
Johnny Rockets® is the ships ‘50s-style American burger joint looks like a clip out of Grease the musical with its red booths and jukebox. We went for lunch one day and we really didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day. There was a great atmosphere in here with entertainment by the singing and dancing waiters and the odd cruise.co.uk staff member. There is a cover charge of $4.95 and on the menu there was burgers, fries, sandwiches such as grilled chicken breast, tuna and BLT’s as well as hot dogs side orders of fries and onion rings and you could have as much as you could eat.

Sorrento’s
Sorrento's
Sorrentos is the pizzeria which you will find on the Royal Promenade, opens from 11.30am until 3.00 am (great for rolling out of the nightclub ) This is complimentary and had a great choice of freshly cooked pizza .

Cafe Promenade again on the Royal Promenade open 24 hours and this again is complimentary. You can get tea’s and coffees and snacks changing during the day so you can expect to get danish pastries in the morning and sandwiches at lunchtime plus a selection of cakes and cookies. If you have the drinks package you can also get cappuchino’s and lattes here also.

You would think with the choice of restaurants we ate in we could not fit anything else in wouldnt you ??
WELL we also received a variety of little treats in the afternoon delivered to our cabin.

We opted to have room service for our breakfast which is complimentary until midnight and then from 5 in the morning.
Room Service can be ordered from the room service menu located in staterooms – either via the stateroom phone or interactive TV service. You could have breakfast delivered between 7.00am and 10.00am.

After all that when I arrived home I didn’t eat for a week !!!!

There is one thing for sure there is something for every palate on this ship.
