WOW  Another first from Royal Caribbean the two  newest ships to join their  fleet are not just ships, they are SMART ships.

Quantum and Anthem of the Seas are  due to set sail very soon with a third ship to this class of ship coming early 2016

Taking entertainment to a whole new level the ‘Bionic bar’ is a must try experience , order your  drinks by a tablet and you  will be served by a robotic bar tender…

Another new innovation is the ‘Roboscreens’ These are huge robotic arms which descend from the ceiling ,measuring over seven feet each, they move and twist individually but they can also join together to form one large screen. Keep your eyes open as they will make surprise appearances throughout the cruise.

Other digital enhancements to  both  of the Quantum class ships, include an online check-in procedure that Royal  claims will take only 10 minutes with no queues, a tracking service for luggage and digital wristbands that serve not only as keys to get into cabins but also can be used to make purchases around the ship.

Live gaming will appeal to the  young people on board its a real home from home as they can even play Xbox Live. ( My son will be in his element) 

Broadband speeds to match at home  will  wow you , the world will be at your fingertips ,24/7 no matter what personal device you bring onboard. Stream video, Skype with family and friends,even while sailing in the middle of the sea. 

They have also added technology in cabins ,in addition to new USB outlets, energy‑efficient motion sensor lighting systems and digital touch controls in suites, all inside  staterooms will be taken to the next technological level, with Virtual Balconies that display real‑time sights and sounds of the sea through 80‑inch LED screens which means every room has a view.An inside cabin will never be the same again .

This is just the technology onboard there are many more firsts than ever before on these ship, I for one am so excited !! My husband and my children  cannot wait to get onboard.
