The Countdown is on…..

So Royal Caribbean’s new ship Symphony of the Seas is almost here, have you booked to go on the biggest cruise ship at sea?

I would love to see this ship and how it differs from Harmony of the Seas that I was lucky enough to see when she launched in 2016 – you never know, I’ll keep my fingers crossed.

Royal Caribbean aim to be the biggest and the best at sea with a range of entertainment, cabin grades, shows, kids clubs, restaurants & bars so what can we expect on Symphony………

New restaurants:-

Sugar Beach – a treat for kids & adults alike – lots of sweets & homemade ice-cream
El Loco Fresh – all your Mexican favourites like Burritos, Tacos & Salsas
Hooked Seafood – fresh seafood & raw bar

New Bars:-

Playmakers – sports bar showing live games & an arcade to challenge your friends & family

With 7 neighbourhoods to choose from, you will find a host of activities to suit your mood…

    3. Royal Promenade
    4. Pool & Sports Zone
    5. Entertainment Place
    6. Vitality at sea, Spa & Fitness
    7. The Youth Zone

From cafe’s to Karaoke bar there is something for everyone on this ship so you can be as active or as lazy as you wish.

Not forgetting the original features for this class of ship:-

The list is endless and more than enough to keep you busy for a 7 night cruise.

Symphony starts sailing from Barcelona on 31 March 2018 for her maiden voyage for a 5 night sailing,  she then sails weekly from Barcelona doing a 7 night itinerary throughout the summer months.  Upto 28 April where she does an 8 night sailing. Here is the itinerary:-

Sun 08Apr2018 Palma De Mallorca, Spain 8:00 AM 4:00 PM Docked
Mon 09Apr2018 Provence (Marseilles), France 9:00 AM 6:00 PM Docked
Tue 10Apr2018 Florence /pisa (La Spezia), Italy 8:30 AM 8:30 PM Docked
Wed 11Apr2018 Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy 7:00 AM 8:00 PM Docked
Thu 12Apr2018 Naples (Capri), Italy 7:00 AM 8:00 PM Docked
Fri 13Apr2018 Cruising Cruising
Sat 14Apr2018 Barcelona, Spain 5:00 AM Departure

Then from Sunday 6th May upto 10 June – 7 nights from Barcelona on a Sunday doing the same itinerary as above.
From 14 June 2018 you can join the ship at Rome Civitavecchia for 7 nights on a Thursday.

This continues until 7 Oct 2018 for the last 7 night Med sailing before she finishes with a 9 night sailing on 14 Oct then on 23 Oct she sails transatlantic for 12 nights over to Miami for the winter season where she will be sailing from Miami, the first sailing is a 4 nighter then you can do 7 nights or 14 nights back to back.
