The Next Big Reveal for Celebrity Edge

Celebrity Edge, the latest ship to be built for the Celebrity Fleet  has just released details of a new and exciting feature which will debut when the ship launches next year. Eden is a free public space than has 3 stories of glass windows and spans the whole width of the ship. This venue will be host to different dining and entertainment experiences. The Eden Cafe will offer casual breakfast in the morning and will also be open for lunch. The Eden Restaurant will only be open for Dinner in the Evenings.  Eden in the afternoon will see the place come to life after being a place to chill in the mornings. For people who like joining in with activities there will be a range of things to do. Cookery Classes will be available and you can learn to make new cocktails to listen to seminars about wine tasting and paring. There may be a few surprises in store in the afternoons too when musical performances may happen randomly.

In the evening the restaurant will carry a cover charge as this is one of the specialty restaurants and booking will be advised as this is sure to be a popular venue. This wont be any ordinary restaurant as it will be combined with performances and entertainment. If you don’t want to dine here though this is still a public area, open to everyone, so if you just fancy a drink you can just take in the atmosphere. There will be no age restrictions either so children are welcome and for the less mobile people the area will be wheelchair accessible and there will also be a lift for accessibility.

For anyone who has been on the Quantum Class ships with Royal Caribbean I think this is going to a mix of Two70 and Wonderland all rolled into one. Two70 on the Quantum class ships doesn’t become a Restaurant at night but is a venue where people can eat breakfast and lunch food available in the Cafe Two70 and is a public area where there are quizes and light entertainment in the afternoon and then for shows in the evening.

Guests dining in the restaurant will participate in a guided experience led by our Edenist hosts. This is like the format in Wonderland where they pick a menu for you and the rest is a surprise. I will be travelling on Edge in 2019 and I cant wait to see what else will be revealed in the coming months for this amazing ship. Watch this space!
