With the better half!

Hello There,

Well now my blog has had a makeover I thought I had better update the details about me. It doesn’t seem like 5 minutes since I was writing about myself for the first time but that was nearly 5 1/2  years ago, they do say time flies when you are having fun! I started at Cruise.Co.Uk in May 2012 and have been in travel since November 2009 after a 29 year stint in the Bingo Industry as a Deputy Manager. Travel has always been my passion, especially cruising, so when the opportunity arose to join the industry I took the bull by the horns, as they say, and grasped the chance although I’m sure some who know me may have called it a midlife crisis! I started my career at 1st4cruising( trading as TTLH) which unfortunately went into administration on 7th March 2012 so this is how I found myself here at Cruise.co.uk.

For anyone who knows me or if you are reading this for the first time, Anne is my alias, my real name is Louise but as we already have a Louise working for the company I have to have a new telephone name so as not to cause confusion.

I got the cruising bug back in 1998 when I thought I would try a Thomson cruise on Island Breeze and after that I was hooked. The next one I tried was in 2002 with Airtours on the Carousel and since 2004 have done more than 25 cruises with P&O, 2 on Queen Mary, 7 on Royal Caribbean, 1 Celebrity, 2 Fred Olsen, 1 Princess, 1 Oceania and  1 MSC. I mustn’t forget  the fabulous Fam trip I did on a River cruise too.  .  It really is the best way to travel, waking up if a different place every day and only having to unpack once ( which is good for me as I normally have a suitcase just for shoes!)
