Lets get an Encore for some more Luxury

Exciting times for those of you that love Seabourn cruises as the newest Luxury ship , the Seabourn Encore was named in Singapore by the British Soprano west end star Sarah Brightman.

She Launched last month and I have to say looks to be the best of the fleet so far. The interior design of the ship and space ratio to passengers will make her a very attractive option.

The ship will be the biggest in the fleet holding 600 passengers , so by no means a large vessel but something a little different for those who love the seabourn luxury and service but on a bigger scale.

The Encore will be the fourth ship and it really does look impressive from the images that we have seen. Seabourn are renowned for the feel of being on board a luxury yacht and having the more finer things in life offered  such as the dining and service offered and the real attention to detail and the Encore will be no exception.

An impressive part of the ship will be the signature lounge area which will give guests the opportunity to catch up on news , meet up with friends and relax with coffee and cake and watch the world go by.

Having the extra space is perfect for Seabourn to offer their guests even more places to dine and have different dining experiences on their cruise holiday. Some examples of this will be the Grill which will be an evening only restaurant which has been created by the US chef Thomas Keller. It will serve a selection of steaks and seafoods and if the Weather is particularly good guests can dine outside on the terrace , which to me sounds like heaven.

For you sushi lovers there will also be the first Japanese restaurant on board and diners will be able to watch specialist chefs prepare the meal in front of them. These are always really good atmosphere places to dine and gets everyone involved in the cooking process with tricks and skills on display.

You will also have the retreat which is a new area at the top of the ship and will have 16 cabanas that can be used for a fee. Some Luxury passengers may not like the idea pf paying as when you go Luxury usually everything is included so this may be quiet so a good place for some peace and relaxation and a good opportunity to spoil yourself with some treatments.

All the cabins on Encore are suites with balconies, walk-in wardrobes, and bathrooms with marble sinks and separate baths and showers.

The entry-level Veranda rooms are a generous size, but if space really matters the Wintergarden Suites are five times as big and have a solarium with a bathtub and sea views. Maybe something to think of if you have a special anniversary or Birthday coming up and you fancy treating yourself.

The outdoor activities with Seabourn are always a bonus and what more fun to be had then making full use of the water sports marina on the back of the ship. Here you can hire out a kayak or pedal boat or if your feeling very adventurous then take to the waters for a windsurf.

I think the overall feel of the Encore will be that of a holiday that you can truly relax on with some really great food and entertainment to match.

Shes got some wonderful itineraries which will see her take in some exotic coats such as Arabia and India or if you prefer to stay closer to home she comes over to the Med in May.

For those of you that have maybe toyed with upgrading to Luxury cruising then this would be a brilliant ship to try out and leading prices with everything that’s included make them a very good option for a more inclusive holiday with tips included , no charges for dining and open bar serving fine wines so if this sounds like it ticks all your boxes then give me a call to discuss itinerary’s and prices.
