Columbus takes on the world

If you love cruising and its your number one way to holiday then there will be certain places and trips that you will want to do and things that you dream of ticking off the old bucket-list.

One of those things for many people is a world cruise. A fantastic opportunity to get to lots of amazing countries across the globe all in the safety and luxury of your cruise ship without a single airport or flight in sight.

The thought of world cruises makes some people fear that it could break the bank to do one of these but i have some great news for those of you out there who love a good deal and some extras thrown in to match.

Cruise and Maritime have just launched their world cruise 2019 which is a 120 nights circumnavigating the globe making it the ultimate voyage of a lifetime.

It will take place on the 05th January 2019 on board the Columbus. This is a beautiful ship and only joined the fleet in June 2017.

It is a great mid sized ship and enjoys a very good reputation in the British market. It offers a range of facilities on board which include seven different lounges and bars , two speciality tea and coffee shops , two deck bars and even a Dome Observatory nightclub to party the nights away. For those of you who may prefer something more refined you can also practice your moves in the large Ballroom on board.

I think she is a perfect ship to take a world cruise on as you get a real fell of intimacy on board and will get a much more personal attention and service then what you would receive on some of the larger ships. She has 775 cabins so holds 1400 passengers in total.

The full itinerary is amazing on this trip and combined with leisurely sea days where you can chill , catch up on a good book and relax you will also be very busy exploring some of the wonders of the world.

From the Caribbean you will transit the Panama Canal and head towards Auckland and Australia before unveiling the highlights of Japan , China , Vietnam , Thailand, Malaysia and India. You can then discover the ancient sites of Egypt and Jordan transiting through the Suez Canal. After this you will then head home via the Mediterranean. What more could you ask for.

If this all sounds like a dream come true then i can tell you that it also gets better with the added bonus of the cruise and maritime promotion buy one get one free. This means that a fantastic holiday like this is actually more affordable then you would guess and with the discount, leading inside cabins would start at £7999pp .

If this isn’t tempting enough they have also added in on board credit up to £1000 and a drinks package and gratuities included.

So if this sounds like something you have always dreamed of doing and feel like treating yourself to a once in a lifetime holiday then give me a call and we can discuss some options for you.
