Off on my Jollies……

Well after waiting over a year my family two week holiday to Cyprus is finally here…Hoooorayyy !!!

We are flying out tomorrow for two weeks in the sun and I cannot wait. My daughter is two so this is the first time we have travelled as a family of five abroad so to say it may be eventful is an understatement. I am sure that it will all be fine and with Peppa Pig and Paw patrol sticker books for my daughter and films and games on the tablets for my two boys hopefully the flight will go by in a whiz.

We have the added excitement of actually attending our friend’s wedding while we are away and my Daughter is going to be Bridesmaid so it will extra special for us all. The only problem with going to a wedding on holiday means you do have to take a lot of extra luggage so we do have rather a lot of cases with us to lug about.

I haven’t been to Cyprus before so am really looking forward to it. It’s so nice to go to different places and I have been told that its beautiful so cant wait to get there and explore.

Working in the travel industry I spend most of my life booking other people there dream holidays and can get very envious of some of the packages that we put together. There are so many places that I would like to go to and whenever we put a new tailor made or Bucket list brochure together I always tick off a handful that I want to get to when I retire.

But for now water Villas in the Maldives or 5* exclusive hotels in Santorini are on the back burner as with three children in tow the main priority is their happiness. With a few water slides  to hand and  Ice cream on tap, a blow up crocodile for the swimming pool then my requirements are met and if there happy then I am.

So for now Laptop off , phone on mute , emails diverted……There’s a sunbed with my name on it !!!
