Door to Door is the way to go…

 Fred Olsen is offering it’s guests a free door to door transfer if they live within 250 miles of the cruise port. This is being offered on a selection of 2014/2015 cruises of 21 nights and over.

This could prove a great success for Fred Olsen as I know from many years of experience in this industry that getting to and from the port with the least fuss and hassle is high up on the list of many potential customers. This is proven by the success of companies such as Titan Tours who figured this out many years ago and many other tour companies are now following their example.  The service will be apply to Dover, Southampton and Liverpool departures.

Nathan Philpot, Sales and Marketing Director for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“This new complimentary ‘door-to-door’ transport service from Fred Olsen Cruise Lines offers our longer cruisers the security and convenience of being picked up from on their doorstep and taken straight to the ship to begin their holiday, without the worry and hassle of getting to and from the port.”

Along with it’s recently formed partnership with Wigan based Eavesway Travel to provide coach transfers to the ports of Southampton, Dover and Tilbury it looks like Fred Olsen wants to lead the way in stress free cruising.
