Glowing report for P&O…this customer is impressed!!

After my last report from a customer of mine on a recent P&O cruise that had left them feeling very disappointed , this report followed shortly after, from another of my regular customers. These customers couldn’t have disagreed more and in fact had nothing but praise and positive feedback from their recent P&O experience.

Seasoned cruisers having sailed with lots of different lines they felt P&O were excellent and they had one of the best cruises they had been on for a long time. They were very keen to call me to give P&O a glowing report which is always very good to hear, and it was a stark contrast to the previous feedback I had just received. My customers couldn’t fault any aspect of their cruise and it wasn’t just  “ok” it was fantastic in their eyes!

Food in the main dining room and the buffet was in their opinion excellent, lots of choice and great food. He said some of the best food he has had whilst on board a ship. The speciality dining didn’t disappoint and they were very, very impressed!

Their cabin was great, spacious, lots of storage, quiet location, made perfect with the balcony. Entertainment was second to none and they thoroughly enjoyed it every evening, they couldn’t fault it. The ships facilities from the gym and the spa to the casino and lounges were great, they loved the choice they had on board the ship.

The service they rated very highly and said the crew couldn’t do enough for them, very helpful, always friendly. The last customer I spoke to said on board his P&O cruise it was the worst service he had ever experienced…..both customers cruised with P&O so you would imagine standards to be the same but this example shows just how different feedback can be on the same cruise line.

I think it goes to show that everyone’s expectations are different, people enjoy different things and what is fantastic for one person is terrible for the next. Expectations are the key and people of course have such different expectations when they are on their cruise, which is why as a cruise specialist I hear so many mixed reviews on what is sometimes exactly the same cruise line and even ship. The point I’m trying to make is that reviews are great to read, they give you an honest insight into that persons thoughts and experiences but remember that that’s exactly what it is based on one person’s thoughts! Read them, read a few and it will give you an idea but don’t let it put you off a cruise you may have chosen because for you the experience will be your experience and may just be perfect.
